1. IS YOUR STEELHEAD WILD CAUGHT OR FARMED?

All of our steelhead is imported from Norway. It is farmed in icy cold ocean waters using the best techniques in the industry. The fish is fed a healthy diet with no antibiotics, no GMO products, and no hormones. The fish is certified 100% parasite free. Because of this, we are able to smoke fish that has never been frozen. Wild-caught fish must be frozen during processing for safe consumption. Steelhead that has never been frozen before results in a product with unbeatable texture. Sometimes, we offer Wild-Caught Salmon as well, depending on season.

2. DO YOU USE LIQUID OR NATURAL SMOKE?

We never use liquid smoke, artificial flavors, or any chemical preservatives in our cold-smoked steelhead. Our ingredients are simple and natural, and the smoke is produced from Alder wood chips.

3. WHEN WILL I RECIEVE MY ORDER?

We ship orders every Tuesday. With the 2-day Fedex shipping, you should recieve your package sometime on Thursday. We accept orders for Tuesday shipping up until Monday 5pm. If you placed your order on a Monday, then your package will ship the very next day. If you place your order on a Tuesday, then your package will ship the following Tuesday.

4. HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

We offer free shipping for all orders above $400. For orders less than $400, we offer a standard flat rate of $29. This covers 2 Day shipping, insulated packaging, cold-packs, etc. The price is set at $29 because we put in the same care and quality to ship a box with only 1 item versus 1 box with 6 items. Because of our flat rate shipping cost, we highly encourage friends and family to purchase a box together and share the joy!
